Sometimes it takes someone special to remind us about what the important things are in life.
Young Amber-Rose Berry is one such young lady. One day this little girl’s interest and empathy for grownups and kids who may be less mobile than herself, inspired her to action. She surprised her family by informing them that she would be swimming the popular Sanlam Cape Mile on 17 February as a fundraising effort for Nicky’s Drive.
This is an open water swim which Amber-Rose completed in 32 minutes. This courageous and kind young girl managed to raise over R 4 000 for Nicky’s Drive, which directly contributed towards Siphamandla Mtsolo’s car adaptations. Amber-Rose’s actions made a difference. Yours can too!
